Entry #1 Blogs and I

Blogs and I are very new to each other. I have never blogged before nor have I ever had an interest in doing so. When exploring my blogs of choice I came across the wide variety of blogs that are out there. I never knew how many blogs were out there or that you can blog just about anything and everything. Out of all the blogs I looked at, the corporate blogs kept my interest and kept me wanting to read more. I was surprised by how many corporate blogs there are and I never knew that Google had its own blog. I would like to focus on the corporate blogs.

The best corporate blog in my opinion was the Whole Story (Whole Foods Blog) blog. I noticed that not only was it a very professional advertisement blog, but it connected on a personal level to myself. They were advertising their products, but on a relate able level. There current post is about Valentine's Day. It talks about different gifts to get and different Valentine's Day ideas while suggestive selling their products. Not only is it very clever, but it was very enjoyable to read. I would defiantly recommend this blog and will most likely continue to read this particular blog.

While the Whole Foods Blog was creative and fun, but also professional, eBay Chatter (eBay's Blog) is not a blog I will ever find myself reading again. eBay Chatter in my opinion is not a well put together or interesting blog. Their blog is all over the place and very inconsistent. At first the blog looked decent, but as I continued reading I was so lost and could not figure out if I was looking for something to buy or actually looking at actual posts. This blog is just a second eBay. All I could find were adds for peoples merchandise and what people bought. I found no information of value and will never be looking at this blog again.

At the conclusion of my blogging search I found that there are many types of blogs I never knew about. Corporate blogs are very useful not only to the company, but also to the consumers only if it is well structured with the consumer in mind.
